Sopa de Milho Pisado (Crushed Corn Soup)

 

Ingredients

 

Crushed Corn

Beans

Potato (semilha)

Sweet-potato

Pumpkin

Burnet

Yam

Green Cabbage

Cow feet

Pork (fat/ lean)

Salt, to taste

Vegetables of the season

 

Preparation

 

Leave the crushed corn soaking overnight. Wash well, four our five times with fresh water. When you are ready to cook, leave the cow feet and green cabbage to cook over soft fire for 30 minutes.

Afterwards, add the vegetables per cooking order, and the crushed corn. Leave it for 1 hour and it will be ready to serve.
